Taylor Swift wears many of her favourite pieces on repeat — and they’re not all thousands of dollars.

Taylor Swift might not be the first name that comes to everyone’s mind as a style icon, but over the past year, her off-duty looks have been nothing short of a fall moodboard. Whether she’s out to one of many, many dinners with friends, heading into the Electric Lady studio, or at an NFL game cheering on her beau Travis Kelce in his private box, she’s been pulling out impactful look after impactful look, mixing luxury labels like Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton and Gucci with accessible pieces that reflect the girl-next-door appeal she’s known for.

The pieces Swift wears tend to sell out quickly (or at least become scarce in sizes), like the crystal-embellished Area jeans she wore to a football game, The Popflex lavender skort she wore in a “Fortnight” promo video and the Hill House Home “nap” black lace top and skirt she wore to Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Over time, these posts reveal that the charm of Swift’s style lies in her consistency — she often re-wears beloved pieces for years and years, and that’s refreshing to see from a billionaire pop star.

As Swift prepares to come to Toronto for the final leg of her Eras tour, we did some shopping sleuthing and rounded up Swift’s favourite fashion and beauty off-duty pieces.

Taylor Swift can’t resist the appeal of ’90s-style sunglasses. She debuted these oval-shaped Crap Eyewear sunglasses at the 2024 U.S. Open back in September and was again seen rocking them again in the teaser for her first show of the last leg of the Eras tour in Miami. Leading up to the release of her 10th album, Midnights, Swift was frequently spotted in Reformation’s cosy cashmere sweaters. One of her favourites is the Jadey sweater — a perfectly oversized style, ideal for cosying up on the couch with a hot cup of cocoa or jotting down poems in a notebook. Swift has long been known for her iconic red lip, going for that red lip classic thing that we like via Pat McGrath Labs or M.A.C.’s Ruby Woo lipsticks. Taylor Swift has always been deeply sentimental when it comes to her jewelry, often hinting at her personal relationships through these pieces, whether it’s wearing an initial charm on a chain or a paper plane necklace. With Travis Kelce as her beau, she’s been spotted wearing red-toned jewelry as a nod to his football team’s colour. When she walked hand-in-hand into a Saturday Night Live after-party, her first public outing with her brand new BF Travis Kelce, Swift was carrying this asymmetrical braided-handle shoulder bag by the Singapore-based brand Aupen.
