Brad Pitt is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. But unlike with most dudes at this elite level, you don't have to earn Hollywood bank just to be able to afford his wardrobe. He likes Sunspel sweaters. He loves Adidas trainers. And when he pulled up to the F1 Grand Prix of Mexico yesterday, he wanted everyone to know that he also prefers sunglasses that are both semi-affordable and vintage at once.
While taking a wee break from filming, the Wolfs star was spotted on the grandstands of Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in a pair of aviators. First released as part of Burberry's spring/summer 2022 collection (right before Daniel Lee took the helm as the label's chief creative officer), this frame is known as the Scott, and it was made in Italy (as most good sunglasses are).
Featuring a full metal build that's meant to be a lot sturdier compared to other pilot-style shades, Pitt's shades were decked out in a shiny silver finish. It's also worth mentioning that when it was first introduced, it also came in matte black and gold colour combos. Two Burberry logos are lasered onto each of the arms, and the round lenses are tinted in a smoky grey for that big movie star look.
Nowadays, most famous guys are going for four-figure pairs from the likes of brands like Jacques Marie Mage. But the American actor's Scott originally retailed for around £220. Sure, that doesn't sound like much of a bargain, but that was over two years ago. Now, you can grab 'em for less than £150 online – but only if you do the digging.
So we did. Brad Pitt's favourite shades are now your favourite shades.
